This position is a field position as a patrolman/ditchrider in our operations department. Primary job function: Distributes irrigation water to the users of the District’s water rights within their assigned area in accordance with Oregon Revised Statutes, Oregon Administrative Rules, District Policies and Procedures and District management direction using information based upon decrees, partial decrees, permits, licenses and transfers. Our other position is for our outside field operations department. Primary job function: Installs, maintains and repairs physical structures necessary for the safe and equitable delivery of irrigation water through our canal systems. A CDL driver’s license or the ability to get one and excavation experience is desirable.
